JACKSON, Miss. — Three people were injured Thursday afternoon after an attempted robbery.
Police tell WAPT that a man approached a vehicle with a gun at Battlefield Park, and demanded money from the three people inside.
When the trio said they didn’t have anything to offer the robber apparently opened fire into the vehicle.
Police say all three were hit, but only with minor injures.
No arrest have been made and anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers at 601-355-TIPS.
