Jackson, Miss—Jackson police have identified the man injured in a police-involved shooting Sunday.Charles A. Lung, 55, is in the hospital recovering from multiple gunshot wounds after Sunday night’s incident, Jackson Police confirmed via Twitter.
Lung is accused of trying to lure children into his car while naked. When police responded to the call about Lung, he attempted to run one of the officers over. That officer opened fire, shooting Lung several times.
Charges have not been released at this time.
