Jackson– Jackson Mayor Tony Yarber has announced his picks for Chief of Police. Now you have a chance to weigh in on that decision.
Jackson Interim Police Chief Lee Vance and Canton Assistant Chief of Police Juan Cloy are the two finalists for the job of Jackson Chief of Police. You’ll have a chance to get to know them at any of the three forums schedule for Monday and Tuesday.
You can catch the forums at any of the following locations:
- Monday, Aug. 18 at noon at Smith Robertson Museum, 528 Bloom St.
- Monday, Aug. 18 at 6:30 p.m. at Westside Community Center, 1650 Wiggins Road.
- Tuesday, Aug. 19 at 6:30 pm. at New Hope Baptist Church Community Life Center, 5202 Watkins Dr.
