There are more than 4,000 furloughed federal workers in Mississippi and a local foodie group wanted to do something to help them out. The Jackson Foodies are holding a gift card drive – collecting gift cards through Friday, January 25. They’re looking for gift cards in any amount to help furloughed families buy food, groceries, gas and essentials.
You can drop off those gift cards through Friday at BRAVO!, Broad Street and Sal & Mookie’s in Jackson.
