An Itawamba County supervisor has been indicted on a child sex crime charge.
A grand jury on Wednesday indicted District 3 supervisor Terry Moore for having inappropriate contact with a female under the age of 16.
Prosecutors allege the contact between the supervisor and the minor took place in October 2022.
Last Thursday, Moore turned himself in to law enforcement. He was charged with touching a child for lustful purposes and was released on a $30,000 bond.
A future court date for Moore has not been set at this time.
