JACKSON, Miss. – They were told one thing, but the companies did another.
At least that’s what six immigrants are claiming about two Mississippi companies.
The workers say they were misled when it came to how much they were going to get paid. The hired immigrants were doing landscape work on some of the state highways.
All the workers are here legally from Mexico.
The two companies being sewed are North American Labor Services Inc., which recruited the workers and Culpepper Enterprises, which hired them.
