PASCAGOULA, Miss. – A husband and wife charged with robbing a bank will each serve nine years in prison.
Tuesday, 39-year-old Donald Landrum and his wife 34-year-old Heather Landrum were sentenced to 15 years each in prison, with nine years to serve and eight years under post-release supervision.
Prosecutors said Heather Landrum went inside The First Bank on Sep. 6, 2013 and gave the teller a note, demanding cash, while her husband waited in a getaway car. The couple was not armed.
Jackson County Circuit Judge Dale Harkey ordered the two to be placed in a therapeutic drug treatment program while in prison.
