PIKE COUNTY, Miss. — The Pike County man accused of soliciting an undercover lawman to kill his wife and stepdaughter is expected to make an initial court appearance this week.
Paul Jerry Dion, 55, is charged with two counts of conspiracy to commit murder; and is being held at the Pike County jail on a $100,000 bond. Authorities say the undercover operative was posing as a hitman and recorded phone calls and face-to-face meetings with Dion. They have not said how much money Dion allegedly offered to kill the two women and disposal of their bodies. But they did say a briefcase with cash in it has been confiscated.
