JACKSON, MISS– As the storms from Tuesday night have made their way out across the state, some are left picking up the debris as temperatures take a dip.
Mostly sunny for North Mississippi Wednesday with highs only reaching into the mid-high 50’s. Dropping near freezing overnight with lows in the mid 30’s.
For Central Mississippi, it’ll clear up to sunshine but the high will only be in the 60’s, much different from topping 80 Tuesday–with a clear night bringing temps in the 30’s.
South Mississippi, the storms are still lingering for you with highs in the 70’s but dropping quickly into the 40’s overnight.
For Thursday, sunshine statewide, highs in the 50’s for North Mississippi, 60’s for Central and South, staying clear as we move into Thursday night with brisk lows in the 30’s statewide.
Friday is another sunny and cool day, but more rain is on the way for the weekend.
