Skeletal remains discovered in Tishomingo County more than a month ago have now been identified.
Coroner Mack Wilemon has confirmed that the remains found on November 8 are those of Pamela Davis, a female who had been missing since early October.
The discovery was made between Midway and Iuka in a field along County Road 181. Trained canines were utilized by law enforcement to search the field.
Authorities have yet to determine Davis’ cause of death.
