As election season continues across Mississippi, one mayoral candidate may not be receiving the support of law enforcement.
Hubert Hamilton, who is seeking the highest office in the city of Houston, was arrested by the Mississippi Highway Patrol on Friday for driving under the influence. Hamilton, who is looking to unseat incumbent Stacey Parker, was pulled over on Airport Road.

At the scene, authorities report charging the Houston mayoral hopeful with DUI, failure to comply with law enforcement, resisting arrest, and no proof of insurance.
