Miss. – Kids will be gallivanting in the streets in search of candy across Mississippi Friday for Halloween with the exception of the cities Leland and Hazlehurst who had their trick-or-treating Thursday.
Here is a list of recommended times cities have provided for trick or treating:
Clinton- dusk until 8:30 p.m.
Pearl- no specific hours
Richland- no specific hours
Ridgeland- no specific hours
Flowood- no specific hours
Florence- no specific hours
Raymond- no specific hours
Biloxi – no specific hours
Laurel – from 5 p.m. to 7p.m.
Greenville – till 8:30 p.m.
Vicksburg- Halloween night from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Madison- no specific hours
Tupelo – no specific hours
Hattiesburg – 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Jackson- Halloween night; no specific hours

Captain Kevin Newman with the Madison Police Department says if there are not specific times listed in your area for trick-or-treating, you should consider going out between the hours of 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. “A parent would probably want their child to go out earlier so they can go to bed earlier, just a recommendation for safety reasons,” said Newman.
