Tonight is an important night in the race for Lt. Governor.
Republican Delbert Hosemann and Democrat Jay Hughes will meet for a debate, which will begin at 6:30 p.m. Hosted by WJTV, the 30-minute commercial-free debate can also be heard live on select SuperTalk Mississippi stations and online at supertalk.fm.
The candidates will discuss the issues facing Mississippi as they both hope to earn your vote in November. Topics will likely include teacher pay, education, healthcare, infrastructure and more.
Hosemann has served as Mississippi’s Secretary of State since 2008. Hughes has represented Lafayette County in the Mississippi House of Reps since 2016.
