MERIDIAN, Miss.–IF someone busted in on you and your family while you were there, would you pull your gun out and shoot? That’s apparently what happened Sunday night in Meridian and one person is dead.
WTOK reported Meridian Police got a 911 call about a break-in about 10:30, and when they got there one person was found shot and was taken to the hospital.
Coroner Clayton Cobbler later confirmed that the person died.
Police were questioning the homeowner.
