Holmes Men’s Basketball Continues National Championship Run

HUTCHINSON, Kansas- Ole Miss isn’t the only team in the state making some noise in a national tournament. The Holmes Community College Bulldogs are moving onto the Quarterfinals of the NJCAA Tournament, which is taking place in Hutchinson, Kansas, having already defeated the likes of Eastern Florida State College, and then Indian Hills Community College last night, bringing their overall record to 25-6.

The final score from Tuesday was 78-67, and the Bulldogs were led in scoring by Daryl Macon, who dropped 20 points on the night. Holmes entered this tournament as a 20-seed, and they now stand with 7 other teams left in the tournament.

They are set to face Hill College Thursday at 2 p.m.
