One Mississippi rural emergency hospital in Holly Springs has announced plans to end all inpatient care as the threat of closure becomes more of a reality for 28 hospitals across the state.
For over two decades, Alliance Healthcare System has served residents in the certified retirement community under the leadership of CEO Dr. Kenneth Williams.
According to Williams, Alliance Healthcare System currently serves around four to five patients daily despite the hospital being licensed to hold 40 beds.
At this time, the hospital system has stated that patients will be transferred to North Mississippi Medical Center if needed.
