This Wednesday, March 6th, staff from State Treasurer Lynn Fitch’s office will be available at the Magnolia Civic Center in New Albany to help area residents search the State’s unclaimed property list and file claims for their funds.
“I want to thank the Union County Supervisors and the Union County Development Association for partnering with my office to help reunite local families and businesses with their unclaimed property,” said Treasurer Fitch. “Since I took office in 2012, we have distributed more than $93 million back to families and businesses. Not only is this real economic stimulus to our State economy, but it can make a difference in people’s lives.”
