Two Hinds County inmates have been captured after escaping while on a work detail.
According to Sheriff Tyree Jones, Anthony Peavy and Frisco Lyons escaped the Hinds County Work Center on the county farm while on an occupation assignment Thursday afternoon.
The two were caught in a wooded area near the farm within one hour of the announcement that they had escaped.

Peavy was initially taken into custody on charges of recovering a stolen vehicle, auto burglary, and being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm. Lyons was locked up on a possession charge and for being in possession of contraband in a penal institution.
Both men face additional charges for escaping.
