A Mississippi highway has been dedicated to a fallen officer.
A portion of HWY 51 in Grenada County has been named in honor of fallen Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics Agent Lee Tartt, who was killed in the line of duty in February 2016 after serving with the MBN for 16 years.
During a ceremony, the highway sign for ‘Agent Lee Tartt Memorial Highway’ was unveiled.

Agent Tartt was shot and killed as he and other SWAT team members attempted to make entry into a home during a hostage situation near Iuka.
Tartt is survived by his wife and two children.
