GULFPORT, Miss. — A high-speed chase that met a head-on collision sent to drivers to the hospital Tuesday in Gulfport. Cops say a trooper tried to pull over Blair Stubbs, 26, on Highway 90 but instead Stubbs turned onto a side street and kept the chase going. He eventually crashed into a car Elizabeth Gardener, 69, was driving.
There has been now no word on the condition of the drivers and federal charges against Stubbs are still pending.
The wreck is still under investigation.
