JACKSON, MISS– High school football will kick off with a strong start on Thursday night as No. 3 South Panola will host No. 2 Clinton in Mississippi’s premier week one matchup.
The Clinton Arrows are poised to make a run for first state title, while South Panola welcomes 34 new players led by a new quarterback in Head Coach Lance Pogue’s final year.
Pogue started with South Panola in 2007 and quickly grew into apowerhouse as the Tigers have a 119-10 record, five state championships and the 2010 national title during his tenure.
South Panola and Clinton will battle it out at 7 on Thursday night.
