JACKSON, Miss.- The holiday cheer is starting to spread this weekend across the state.
Headed to Vicksburg? Prepare to see some lights. Downtown Vicksburg will be lit up on the historic Washington Street between Belmont and Jackson streets. They’re plugging them in around 5.
And in Hernando, it’s not just downtown that’s getting decked out in lights, but also a Christmas tree. At the Hernando Courthouse Square you’ll hear some Christmas carols and a story read by the mayor as everyone gathers to see the tree’s lights.
Don’t forget Peppermint Pops in Meridian! Join the Symphony Orchestra and special guest John Christopher Adams for some wonderful songs of the season– Santa is even having a party afterwards.
Taking a break from the festive cheer? The Philadelphia Gun Show is setting up at the Neshoba County Coliseum with hourly door prizes. You might just find the perfect gift for that special someone.
