46 criminals have been arrested as a result of “Operation Shark Tank” in Hattiesburg.
The multi-day joint operation led by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force, with Hattiesburg Police, Forrest County Sheriff’s Department, Metro Narcotics, MDOC, MBN, FBI, DEA, and other federal agencies led to 46 arrests.
In addition to the arrests, the operation resulted in the seizure of 14 guns and several forms of illegal drugs.
The operation ran from April 26 to May 4 and consisted of an increased number of officers located throughout the city.
