A Hattiesburg man has been sentenced to serve 10 years in prison for conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
According to court documents, the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Safe Streets Task Force began an investigation into the drug trafficking activities of 21-year-old Christopher Myers, Jr. and others in Laurel in February 2022.
Agents conducted two controlled buys from Myers, where 10 pounds of methamphetamine was purchased in each instance.
The case was investigated by the FBI, and prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Erica Rose.
Myers was sentenced in U.S. District Court in Hattiesburg.
