HARRISON COUNTY, Miss. — A deputy was fired after being accused of sexual battery of a minor over the weekend. Bobby Chandler of Gulfport used to be deputy warden at the Harrison County Jail. For his safety, he is being held behind bars at a neighboring jail $100,000 bond.
The attorney general’s office is handling the case.
