Gulfport police are thanking the public for helping them identify the suspect that assaulted an NBC reporter that was filing stories on Ida from the beach Monday.
Benjamin Dagley, who is from Ohio–is facing several counts of assault. Gulfport PD contacted authorities in his area after reviewing his criminal history. Turns out he’s on probation and wasn’t supposed to travel.
Police believe he’s no longer on the coast. He’s believed to be traveling in a white 2016 Ford F-150 bearing Ohio license plate PJR1745. If you know of his whereabouts, please contact your local law enforcement.
