COPIAH COUNTY, Miss. The Copiah County grandma accused of embezzling money from the company where she was working has taken a plea deal. Linda Gale Reed admitted Thursday to one count of embezzlement.
Two other counts have been dropped. Reed was arrested in Texas last year, months after she and the money disappeared. She will be sentenced no later than August 12, and remains at the Copiah County jail until then.
