Grammy-award winner Carly Pearce will be helping celebrate the City of Pearl’s 50th anniversary as the headlining act at this year’s Pearl Day Concert.
Pearce, who rose to fame in 2017 with her single “Every Little Thing,” is a three-time recipient of the Country Music Association Award, as well as a four-time winner of the Academy of Country Music Award.
The country music singer and songwriter will be featured as the main musical artist at the concert, along with performances from Travis Denning and Ben Burgess.
“We are thrilled to have a rising star in Carly Pearce coming to celebrate our 50th year as a city. It was so exciting to see Carly win a Grammy award this year and can’t wait to welcome her to Pearl,” said Pearl Mayor Jake Windham. “It will be an awesome night as both Travis Denning and Ben Burgess will bring great music and high energy to get the show rolling. We also made the decision to make this a free concert so that as many of our residents can come celebrate with us without having to worry about cost.”
All attendees will be invited to celebrate the city’s anniversary at the free event, which will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
The event will be held at 6:00 p.m. in the northern lot of the Trustmark Park on Saturday, May 6. Click here for more information about the event.
