JACKSON, Mississippi– Graco has recalled 4.7 million strollers because a locking mechanism could cut off your child’s finger.
It’s a massive recall from Graco on several models of strollers. The locking mechanism that prevents folding when the stroller is in use is easy for the children to grab. There’s a danger of cuts and scrapes on the fingers, but more extreme cases have involved partial or full amputations of a child’s finger when it was caught in the lock.
There are 11 models listed on the Consumer Product Safety Commission website. If you have a Graco stroller made from August, 2000 to September 2014, contact Graco immediately for a repair kit or a replacement.
