Governor Phil Bryant has signed an Executive Order creating the Mississippi Rural Health Care Task Force.
The task force will study the state of rural health in Mississippi and develop a comprehensive report of the financial outlook of the state’s rural hospitals, including recommendations to prevent and mitigate threats of closure.
Governor Bryant says a written report will be delivered to him by September 30, 2019 incorporating the directives of the Order.
