Governor Byrant has set the Special Election to fill the vacancy in House District 31. The district covers Bolivar, Humphreys, Sunflower, and Washington Counties.

Voters will head to the polls on November 6th to determine who will take over for Representative Sara Richardson Thomas who retired at the end of June after 21 years of service in the Mississippi House of Representatives.
