Governor Tate Reeves has appointed Anne Hall Brashier as his new chief of staff after serving in an interim position for seven months.
Brashier joined Reeves’ staff as Deputy Policy Director upon his election in 2019, later being promoted to the role of deputy chief of staff of policy and legislative affairs and interim chief of staff.
“Anne Hall Brashier is incredibly smart and talented,” Reeves stated. “I’m confident that she will do a fantastic job managing this office and our legislative agenda as we enter the second term. I look forward to working with her to build on the past four years of historic accomplishments.”
She previously served under U.S. Senator Thad Cochran, as well as holding the position of deputy chief of staff to U.S. Representative Trent Kelly and military legislative assistant to U.S. Senator Thom Tillis.
“I’m honored to have the opportunity to serve Mississippi in this capacity,” Brashier explained. “Governor Reeves has advanced a success-driven mindset for Mississippi that has had profound results. I look forward to having the opportunity to help continue shaping public policy for the betterment of the state that I love.”
Prior to Brashier’s appointment, Parker Briden worked as Reeves’ chief of staff for just under two years after holding the role as a senior advisor to the governor in 2020 and during his 2019 campaign.
