GULFPORT, Miss.- Ohio Gov. and presidential hopefull John Kasich spoke to hundreds today in Gulfport.
Kasich rallied voters before the March 8th primary. He spoke of resumes and accomplishments and informed listeners that due to a recent USA Today poll he was beating Dem. opponent Hilary Clinton by 11 points.
This isn’t the first time Kasich has visited the Magnolia State. He and his team have recently beefed up campaigning in Mississippi.

Kasich has already made one stop in this campaign at Mississippi College. Wednesday, February 24, he’ll hold a town meeting at Cafe Climb in Gulfport starting at 11am.
John Kasich is the right blend of principled conservatism and pragmatic problem-solving,” says political strategist Hayes Dent, who is spearheading Kasich’s campaign in Mississippi.
“He’s proven his ability to get things done by balancing the federal budget in Washington and bringing jobs back to Ohio.”
Kasich is rising in popularity, taken the second spot in the New Hampshire caucus.
