Doors to the concert open at 5:30 p.m. with the show beginning at 7 p.m. General admission tickets are on sale now for $60 to the general public. Both residential and non-residential students can get in for $25.
“GloRilla is set to take the stage … for an unforgettable night of epic proportions,” a press release stated. “Get ready for an evening of non-stop energy that will have you on your feet from start to finish.”
Homecoming at Jackson State will feature other events and parades such as Street Jam, Yard Fest, Thee Greek Step Show, Thee Vendor Fair, and Thee Gospel Explosion. On Saturday, the Tigers football team will take on Arkansas Pine Bluff at 2 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Stadium.
“Homecoming 2024 celebrates the spirit and traditions that make Jackson State University unique,” JSU Vice President of Student Affairs Dr. Jonas Vanderbilt said. “This year’s theme, ‘Thee House Party,’ captures the energy and community that define the JSU experience. We invite students, alumni, and friends to join us for a week of events that honor our legacy, showcase our creativity, and bring us together in Tiger pride. We can’t wait to welcome everyone home to THEE and celebrate what it means to be part of Tiger nation.”
