A weekend plane crash in Murray County, Georgia, has claimed the lives of two adults and two children.
The two children were from Corinth, Mississippi.
According to Murray County Coroner Jason Gibson, the two adults were Dexter Lee Gresham, 55 and Mary Jo Yarbrough 61. They died along with their grandchildren, Austin Day an Kinsley Wilson, both 10 years old.
“They (the kids) were close in age. Austin was about to be 11, and Kinsley just turned 10,” said Gibson.
Gibson said nothing else could be said about the plane crash itself, as the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board cleared the wreckage and have taken over the investigation.
“They had the site cleared Saturday and Sunday,” said Gibson. “But it could be a while before we know what really happened.”
