HATTIESBURG, MISS– Jeremy Mardis, the six-year old boy killed when marshals started firing at the car he was in, will be laid to rest in Hattiesburg today.
Mardis’ father Chris Few, was fired upon by marshals in Louisiana. They said they were serving a warrant, but no such warrant exists, and a gun was not found. Those marshals, Derrick Stafford, 32, of Mansura, and Norris Greenhouse Jr., 23, of Marksville have been arrested.
Body camera footage of that shooting is being investigated.
