Funeral arrangements have been made for fallen Meridian police officer Kennis Croom.
The memorial service for Croom, who was killed in the line of duty on the night of June 9, is set for Thursday, June 16 at 1 p.m. at the Meridian High School Gym.
The viewing will be from 12-4 p.m. on June 17 at the Northport Funeral and Cremation Services. Later that night, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated Omega will host a ceremony at the same location.
Croom will be buried at Memory Hill Gardens in Tuscaloosa, his hometown. In lieu of flowers, Croom’s family has requested all donations be made to the Croom Foundation.
