You may be picking up the mess from yesterday’s severe weather, but today you’ll need to brace for winter weather.
2-5 inches of snow could coat much of North Mississippi Friday, and temps barely reaching above freezing doesn’t help either. Lows dropping into the 20’s overnight. Keep an eye on the roads if you’re out.
Central Mississippi you’re looking at maybe a light dusting of snow, less likely to stick. Highs reaching into the 30’s, dropping into the 20’s.
No snow south, highs in the 40’s, low 30’s.
For Saturday it’s a sunny start to the weekend statewide. High in the 30’s for North Mississippi, any snow that accummulates could still be on the ground so watch out.
Central Mississippi sunny high in the 40’s Saturday, lows in the 20’s,
And in South Mississippi, a break from rain, highs in the 40’s, lows in the 20’s.
