North Mississippi waking up in the lower 60s today, rising to a high in the upper 70s. You’re looking at a storm front that will push into the north Delta around midnight, tracking eastward thru early Saturday morning.
Central Mississippi feeling temperatures in the mid 60s this morning: your Friday high in the upper 70s. You’re looking at storms reaching you after midnight. The good thing about this system is that it’s moving quickly and should be done by lunchtime Saturday. One thing to keep in mind: there’s a chance for a second wave to bring more rain Saturday afternoon around sunset.
South Mississippi cloudy, muggy and windy this morning: you may be in for a few isolated thunderstorms popping up across the area today, but growing more widespread later this evening. Look for your heavy set of rain and thunder to hit in the early hours of Saturday morning.
