Mississippi State fans have an extra incentive to cheer for the men and women representing the Bulldogs in the upcoming NCAA Tournaments.
As part of its “Last Dog Standing” campaign, MUG Root Beer is giving folks in the Magnolia State an opportunity to enjoy its beverages at a low price. With 11 dog-mascot teams competing to be the top dogs in men’s and women’s hoops, MUG is offering root beer and merchandise promotions to rally the country to bark for the Bulldogs.

Monday, March 17, through Thursday, March 20, Mississippi residents can get free MUG Root Beer by texting a receipt to (737) 377-3774 with code MUG25 for up to $4 off their purchase.

Fans nationwide can enter to win one of five custom collectible MUG Last Dog Standing 2025 cans featuring some of this year’s competing breeds, including English Bulldogs, here while supplies last.

If a men’s or women’s dog team takes home the championship, MUG Root Beer will once again give free root beer to the country
For the first time in history, the men’s and women’s teams representing Mississippi State and Ole Miss will be featured in the NCAA Tournament in the same postseason campaign. The Bulldogs will field both of their hoops squads in the Big Dance for the second time in the past three seasons.
