Residents in the metro Jackson area will have an opportunity to attend a free pet resource clinic this coming Saturday courtesy of the Best Friends Animal Society.
The clinic will operate from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the city of Jackson police firearm range (1005 E. McDowell Rd.) and will provide residents with vaccines, microchips, and supplies for their respective pets.
Services provided by the clinic include:
- Rabies, distemper/parvovirus, and FVRCP vaccines
- Deworming medication
- Microchips
- Spay/neuter vouchers
Residents will also be able to ask questions about what more can be done to help their pets and share some of the challenges surrounding pets in the city of Jackson. The resource event will be available on a first come, first served basis. Cats must be in carriers and dogs are required to be leashed.
