Former NFL running back Stevan Ridley was arrested at a nightclub in his hometown of Natchez over the weekend.
Ridley, 34, was taken into custody on a misdemeanor disorderly conduct charge around 1 a.m. Sunday. He later posted a $750 bond and was released.
The LSU graduate got his start at Trinity Episcopal Day School before being drafted in the third round of the 2011 NFL Draft. In eight years in the league, Ridley played four seasons with the New England Patriots, one with the New York Jets, one with the Atlanta Falcons, and two with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
He was a member of the Patriots team that won Super Bowl XLIX, totaling 3,102 rushing yards and 24 touchdowns over the course of his career.
