LONG BEACH, Miss.- Less than a year after his arrest, a former Long Beach police officer has been indicted on charges of allegedly having a relationship with a teenager.
Patrick Klis was arrested, and then fired from Long Beach P.D. in April, and now he has been indicted by a grand jury on five total charges, including two counts of statutory rape, two counts of sexual battery, and one count of touching a child for lustful purposes.
An affidavit in the case says that the teenager kept a diary of her and the former officer’s alleged affairs. A trial date is expected to be set later this month.
