JACKSON, Miss. – More and more people across the magnolia state are getting the flu.
In the last week of December, 4 percent of the states population had the flu-like symptoms.
That’s the highest of the season however, still below the usual levels this time of year.
Health officials say now’s a good time to get your flu shot. It takes about two weeks for the shot to offer maximum immunity.
