JACKSON, Miss. – At 3 p.m. Saturday, Michelle Obama delivered the commencement speech at Jackson State University.
More than 800 graduating seniors where to receive there diploma at the 139th Spring Commencement Ceremony. It’s estimated that more than 55,000 people attended the event.
Earlier this week students at the university lined up for hours to get tickets. Each graduating seniorwas given 16 tickets for friends and family.
