JACKSON, Miss. – Friday was the grand opening of the first brewery in the capital city, Lucky Town Brewing Co. Brewmaster Lucas Simomns says the brewery was five years in the making after winning a homebrew competition in 2009.
You can get Lucky Town beer in only Mississippi as far north as Corinth and as far south as the Gulf Coast. The only area in Mississippi that does not carry Lucky Town is the delta, but that will soon change with the introduction of canned Lucky Town beer in the near future.

Lucky Town brews an average of 620 gallons of beer weekly, but Lucas says they expect to triple production soon.
