A fire broke out on the campus of Mississippi Delta Community College last night, and the administration building was destroyed by the blaze.
According to Chief Tim Upchurch with the Moorhead Fire Department, the building is a “total loss” after firefighters worked to put the fire out.
Upchurch said that there were no injuries as a result of the fire, and that a cause has not yet been determined. An investigation is underway to determine what happened.
A representative from the school could not comment on the fire at this time.
