JACKSON, Miss. – There is a hazardous weather outlook for east central, north central, north east and south central Mississippi.
According to the National Weather Service, Mississippi is expected to have much drier air today with low relative humidity, which when combined with breezy north winds will result in a limited fire danger threat.
The counties that could be effected include, Webster, Clay, Lowndes, Choctaw, Oktbbeha, Attala, Winston, Noxubee, Madison, Leake, Neshoba, Kemper, Hinds, Rankin, Scott, Newton, Lauderdale, Claiborne, Copiah, Simpson, Smith, Jasper, Clarke, Jefferson, Adams, Franklin, Lincoln, Lawrence, Jefferson Davis and Covington County.
