JACKSON, MISS– The National Weather Service says you may be enjoying fall weather for now, but by the middle of the week you may need a severe weather plan.
Another, stronger cold front is moving into Mississippi, and this time it’s bringing storms, not just rain.
“It could be severe,” says Joann Culin with the National Weather Service, “tornadoes can’t be ruled out in this front.”
The highest risk for severe weather is late Wednesday afternoon going into Wednesday evening, but once that clears out, you’re looking at more fall weather and a clear weekend.
