Tax season is officially here and Entergy Mississippi is looking to provide free services to help customers complete the burdensome task of filing income taxes.
Entergy will be hosting three Super Tax Day events across the state. IRS-certified volunteers will help qualifying customers access resources and information on tax credits and deductions they may be eligible for, including the federal earned income tax credit — one of the nation’s most effective means of assisting low-income families.
In addition to tax preparation, customers will receive information on how to sign up for Kids to College, a free child savings account powered by Entergy. When families sign their child up for an account through the Kids to College program, Entergy will contribute $50 and will match any savings in the account up to $365 this year.
Super Tax Day events will take place at locations throughout Mississippi, granting customers in all parts of the state a chance to take advantage of the free service. Customers unable to attend an event in their area can still receive free, in-person tax preparation services by scheduling an appointment at one of the Entergy-sponsored volunteer income tax assistance sites through April 15.

- Saturday, Feb. 10, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. — Coahoma County Expo Center 150 Wildcat Drive (Clarksdale)
- Saturday, Feb. 17, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. — The Hill-Hernando 1775 Memphis Street (Hernando)
- Saturday, Feb. 24, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. — Smilow Prep Charter School 787 E Northside Drive (Jackson)
